What Is Manual Mode In Smartphone?..

> Manual mode is a option that you'll find mostly in DSLR's, but nowdays most of the Flagship and Mid range Smartphones also have this...however in the mid range smartphones you may not get all the features that include in the manual mode, like- Shutter Speed, Manual Focus etc.

How To Use Manual Mode in Smartphones?..

> Using the Manual Mode in a smartphone is quite similar to a DSLR...you can set the ISO,Shutter Speed, White Balance and you can also use the Manual Zoom..but like DSLR's you can not set the aperture in Smartphones as it already comes with a fixed aperture. So, now let's know about how to use the manual mode, To use the manual mode in smartphone you have to click on the camera app and turn on the manual mode and then some sort of options will appear on your screen,  Now you're ready to shoot in manual mode..just remember the three important things of the exposure pillar 1.ISO, 2.Shutter Speed, and 3.White Balance, Once you understand how to use these three things then you could also take photos like professionals, So now let's know about what does these three things do..

1.ISO : ISO stands for International Organization for Standardization, In Digital Photography ISO measures the sensitivity of the image sensor. The same principles apply as in film photography – the lower the number the less sensitive your camera is to light and the finer the grain. Higher ISO settings are generally used in darker situations to get faster shutter speeds.

2.Shutter Speed : Shutter Speed also known as “exposure time”, stands for the length of time a camera shutter is open to expose light into the camera sensor.
Usually its values are from 1/16000, 1/8000, 1/4000.. and so on to 1/2, 1, 2, 4, 8, 15, 30 , 60 sec. (these values depend upon your camera specification.) 1/16000 means that your camera shutter will be open and the camera sensor will be exposed to light for 16000th fraction of a second. ie divide 1 second into 16000 parts, out of these 16000 parts camera shutter will be open for only one of the part time duration.(Information source: Quora)

3. White Balance :   White Balance in digital photography means adjusting colors so that the image looks more natural. We go through the process of adjusting colors to primarily get rid of color casts, in order to match the picture with what we saw when we took it.  (Information source: Quora)

The Reason to Switch From DSLR to a Mirrorless (For Nikon Users)

Okay,  Let’s assume for a moment Nikon was a genie and could grant me one wish. Aside from wishing for 1,000 more wishes, here is what I would ask for. Recently, there were financial results released that showed Nikon being in a precarious position in the market. True, that statement could have been made about Nikon anytime in the past couple of years. But there was something about this report that was particularly troubling. It’s been no secret that Sony has been dominating the mirrorless market for some time, having entered the game several years earlier than Nikon and Canon. Nor is it surprising to see Canon ahead of Nikon. They have a larger share of the overall camera market, so you’d expect they might also have a larger share of the mirrorless one. What was distressing was that Nikon was not even third, not even fourth, but fifth on the list of mirrorless sales behind Fuji and Olympus.                                                                          Image Source   Again,
